A Holiday Message From Chris

LOCAL WARMING

It's December 11. I'm sitting outside at a local coffee shop. Sweating. It's almost 80 degrees. Every minute or so, you can hear someone on the deck say the words, "Global warming."

But, at this very moment, just a couple hours' drive north, there are hundreds of thousands without power because of an inch of ice on every surface. States of emergency. Ice storms!

The kids at the table next to me are singing Christmas songs. They're sweating too. Santa would definitely get overheated in that red suit and beard.

Let's all get in on the discussion, even though most of us are NOT scientists, and usually only believe the 'experts' that reinforce what we already think. I know I do.
